Delivery

UK SHIPPING –

Shipping is free within the UK

All Items are shipped via Royal Mail first class delivery.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING –

Royal Mail – international standard – prices vary according to products ordered.

Please allow 14 working days for delivery.

Duty and other charges
Please be aware that some countries charge taxes & Duty on goods received into the country. It is the customers’ responsibility to pay for these.If the customer forfeits the payment or does not accept the package due to the customs charges then the items will be returned to the seller.

In some cases, this can mean a forfeit of any refund as return shipping and associated charges can equal more than the amount paid for the goods, so it is highly recommended you look into any additional costs before you place your order.

Ben Len Hughes cannot be held responsible for these charges, it is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of their own country’s rules and regulations regarding imports from the UK.

Shipping costs vary according to product and will be added when products are added to the shopping cart.

Refunds and Returns

The refund and returns policy lasts for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, you cannot be offered a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods cannot be returned.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Custom Orders
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Books with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be sent an email to notify you that your item has been received. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Custom Order Refunds:

All Custom images are drafted, finalised and agreed upon between the artist and consumer.

Whilst you can cancel a custom order at any time before a finalised version has been sent, you cannot request a refund once you have received a customised image.

You may request a refund of your purchase price if the piece has been damaged in transit (Photographic evidence of any damage will be required).

Back-up Images in case of damage

A scanned copy of your custom piece will be kept by the artist so you can request a print version if anything happens to the original.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

Items are only replaced if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact: ben@benlenhughes.co.uk

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should post your product to the address provided by the site owner.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
